The Citizenship by Investment Committee (CBIC) was established by the Honorable Prime Minister of Grenada and is the authority responsible for processing all applications for Agent’s Licenses and all applications for Citizenship by Investment applicants and their family.

Citizenship Program

In 2001 the Grenada Citizenship-by-Investment program closed then reopened in 2013.Only by obtaining a visa beforehand, applicants and their dependants who have been previously denied a visa to countries which Grenada has visa free access may apply into this program. Individuals who will not become resident for tax purposes In Grenada are free of personal income tax, whereas Dual citizenship is allowed.

Option 1 – Contribution To The Government Fund


NON REFUNDABLE DONATION: Main Applicant with Family of Four – USD 200,000

A donation of US$ 200,000 to the National transformation Fund (NTF) will grant Permanent Resident status to the main applicant with a family of up to four (spouse + two qualifying dependents). An extra donation of US$ 25,000 will be required for every additional dependent. Donation must be in escrow at the time of PR application but can be transferred to NTF in two installments.

GOVERNMENT FEES

  • Application Fee – USD 1500
  • Due Diligence Fee* – USD 5000 per person aged 18 and over, USD 2,000 for each dependent aged between 12-17
  • Lifetime Citizenship with Dual Citizenship allowed
  • Processing Fee – USD 1500 per person aged 18 and over, USD 500 for persons under 18

*Payable to the Government upon submission of the application and is non refundable if citizenship is rejected,

Option 2 – Government Approved Project Investment

The Grenada government is highly supportive of GSA (Grenada Sustainable Aquaculture Project). This project is poised to be a significant economic driver for Grenada in a new industry.


  • The pro-business government position will allow GSA to move and develop more efficiently and rapidly. GSA will offer Citizenship by Investment (CBI) participants a buy-back option through the sale of Preferred Redeemable Shares.

  • Aspen Assurance will offer third party assurances to the participants for their investments. This will preserve the integrity of the Grenada CBI while offering interested CBI participants a higher return opportunity than they can achieve today.

  • Investment required is $275,000. Other government, legal and management fees may apply.

Option 3 – Government Approved Real Estate Investment

Mt Cinnamon Hotel is situated on a lush hillside on almost two miles of the white-sand Grand Anse Beach, which is recognized as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

  • The resort hotel, looking towards the historic capital St. George’s, sets the tone for an irresistibly elegant yet intimate, relaxed beach hideaway.

  • The resort is being expanded through the Citizenship By Investment program with an investment required of $350,000 USD that need to be kept for 5 years.

Option 4 – Government Approved Real Estate Investment

Port Louis Village is the ultimate maritime resort community, offers a limited number of hilltop turn-key Villas with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and magnificent harbor and marina and lush tropical mountains.


A Grenada CBI Investment in 'SYLC' at Port Louis Maritime Resort Village & Marina is by way of condominium title to real estate and the granting of citizenship together with a Grenadian passport. Title to the real estate is held by the Main Applicant. Required investment amount is USD 450,000 for family of four.


Process & Timeline


  • STEP 1 Upon signature of Retainer Agreement we provide client the documentation & start working on the file.

  • STEP 2 Once the file is ready client pays Background Checks Fees and documents are submitted to the Government.

  • STEP 3 Once the results of Background Checks are reviewed by the Government, the stipulated investment amount must be paid directly to the Ministry of Finance and Planning.

  • STEP 4 Upon citizenship approval the client is issued a Certificate of Naturalization and will obtain passport/s within 1 week
